After Dark 8, at Greg Moon Art March 23 - April 13, 2019

I’m honored to be a part of After Dark 8, a National Juried Exhibition with a nocturnal or dark theme at Greg Moon Art, which opened on Saturday March 23rd .

The opening for this eighth annual event was a packed house. I was delighted to attend the reception and see my 2 pieces, The West, oil, 30 x 40, and Twilight II, oil, 30 x 42, featured prominently in the front room of the two room gallery. My painting The West was printed in color in a 4 page center spread article about the show in Tempo, the Arts and Entertainment Magazine of The Taos News.

“We juried 465 submissions from 27 states and selected 47 pieces for inclusion in this show that’s going to throw a little shade – pun intended – on the bright light of Taos as an art destination,”  said gallery owner Greg Moon, who co-curated the show with Taos business luminary and designer Janet Webb and artist Isabel Samaras.

The exhibition, which features a diverse group of artists working in all paint media, printmaking, sculpture, photography, mixed media and assemblage, will run though
